Biomass Heating System Installation

Chelmer's biomass systems have been designed to be easy to install and include step-by-step installation manuals. We also provide free technical support to installers by telephone and email should any unexpected queries arise on-site.

Grant requirements

All our biomass systems are MCS approved for UK Government grant schemes such as the Renewable Heat Incentive and Renewable Heat Premium Payment. In order to benefit from these schemes the heat pump system must also be installed by an MCS accredited installer.

Recommended installers

As a design and supply company, Chelmer have a list of recommended installers who have installed our systems in the past and have attended one of our installer training courses. We are happy to supply details of recommended local installers in our free system quotations.

Electrical requirements

Please note that Building regulations (Part P) stipulate that a qualified electrician is required to carry out and sign-off any electrical work in a domestic property, this includes the heating system power supply and associated controls.
