Wood Pellet (Biomass)

Ecocat With Solar Panels

Biomass energy is produced from two main categories of fuel. This includes wood based fuels and non-wood based fuels such as animal waste, bi-products from food processing and high energy crops such as; rape, sugar cane and maize. The production of energy from biomass is both environmentally friendly and very economic. The burning of biomass fuel does produce CO² but this is offset by the CO² that is absorbed while growing. Therefore biomass is considered to be zero carbon.
