Log Burner (biomass)

Biomass energy is produced from two main categories of fuel. This includes wood based fuels and non-wood based fuels such as animal waste, bi-products from food processing and high energy crops such as; rape, sugar cane and maize. The production of energy from biomass is both environmentally friendly and very economic. The burning of biomass fuel does produce CO2 but this is offset by the CO2 that is absorbed while growing. Therefore biomass is considered to be zero carbon.
